Heritage publisher from Romania — fiction, non-fiction, children's books. WooCommerce → Shopify Plus migration with custom theme from Anagrama's Figma design.
The situation
Editura Univers® is one of Romania's oldest and most respected publishers, with a catalog covering fiction (20th–21st century novels, authors like Jostein Gaarder, Boris Vian), non-fiction, and a dedicated children's books section. Their existing WooCommerce store could no longer meet their needs — poor performance under the weight of an extensive catalog, cumbersome navigation through collections and subcollections, and a shopping experience below the standards of a publisher of this caliber.
What we built
We completed the full migration from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus. The theme was custom-built in Shopify Liquid from a Figma design created by Anagrama agency in Bucharest — pixel-perfect fidelity, advanced navigation through fiction, non-fiction, and children's book collections, author filtering, dedicated sections for special offers and book fairs.
What we delivered
We had a massive WooCommerce catalog that had become impossible to manage. They implemented the Anagrama design pixel-perfect in Shopify Plus and integrated everything we needed. Everything worked flawlessly from day one.
